In mid november of 2012 me and Linus Pröjtz went to Björkvik, an old airfield strip that we use a lot when we Test cars for Teknikens Värld, to test drive this old but very well restored Porsche 911 that is actually a mix of two different models.
It´s a long story, but I will keep it quite short, if you want to read more about it you can find it in this magazine right here: http://www.teknikensvarld.se/82013/42610/klassiska-bilar-nummer-8–2013/
Anyway, this is a mix of two cars as I said earlier. It consists of an 1965 Porsche 911S and an 1970 Porsche 911T. It started it´s racehistory in the late sixties when Bengt Ekberg drove it successfully, then Dick Biström continued racing with it for some year before it fell into a long sleep until now when the current owner Andris Nolendorf has brought it back to life. Today it is perfectly restored by MTech to it´s original shape that it had in the early seventies when it raced around swedish racetracks. The whole purpose was to make it look exactly like back in the days, and that is something they have done perfectly. Andris has woken up this old racecar and taken it to the tracks once again this season.
The circle is complete.
Here are some of the pictures that I took that day, it was a good day.
